New York Loves Austrian Wine
(AWMB, November 2009) - Good news from the USA ! The economy is growing again (+ 3% in the 3rd quarter). The restaurants are full, shoppers are willing to spend - and Austrian wine is going full speed ahead !
After a difficult 12 months, the success story continues once again. Following a very well-attended press tasting recently in New York's Blauen Gans restaurant, the Austrian Magnum Party afterwards was a huge hit ! Sommeliers from top restaurants and buyers from the best wine stores rendezvoused to savour suckling pig and salmon with 45 top Austrian wines in magnums and double magnums. A real flavour fest!
